| The Briggs Houchin Duo/ Trio plays classic jazz standards, plus many bebop standards including several tunes from the Wes Mongomery songbook. Chuck Briggs (guitar) and Joshua Houchin (bass) are the founding members of the group and have performed together professionally for over five years. Based in Illinois, the group has played for such organizations as the Krannert Center for Perfoming Arts, Champaign County Arts Council, Springfield Area Arts Council, Danville Fisher Theater, the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, the Indianapolis Artsgarden and the University of Illinois. |
